GoodLife Fitness Repays LEEFF Loan
On Monday, November 1, 2021, Goodlife Fitness Centres Inc. (“GoodLife”) repaid in full its Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF) loan to Canada Enterprise Emergency Funding Corporation (CEEFC). The loan was approved on February 4, 2021 in the amount of $310 million, and GoodLife had borrowed $180.1 million. GoodLife’s repayment consisted of $180.1 million in principal, $4.5 million in interest, and $9.2 million in fees, for a total of $193.8 million. The loan agreement between GoodLife and CEEFC has now been terminated.
